About Me

For those wanting to know more about me below is a little more meat on the bones (no comments please) about how I came to existance...

My mother is English and my Dad was from Wales, they met whilst my mum was on holiday to Wales.... Why on earth you would want to holiday to Wales is beyond me, just lots of valley's and sheep, but hey, it works for some. Anyway, they met, fell in love, moved to Wales, had my brother (thats probably the only time you'll hear me mention him). Mum then didn't like Wales, moved back to England and quicker than Harry Potter could knock out a spell, they had me. James Alan... a beautiful bundle of joy.

Born in Leicester, city famous for the likes of Walkers Crisps, Sir David Attenborough, Gary Lineker, the curry mile and now the grave of Richard III.

Growing up in Leicester in my early years were fab, me and my best mate at the time Kieran were inseparable during our junior years, and although I have always been slight overweight, I have always been able to stay reasonably popular so enjoyed life. This continued into Senior school where, although friends changed, I always had a good group to hang out with and enjoy my GCSE and ALEVEL years.

But at the end of these, we all went our seperate ways, I chose University in a new city, Stoke-on-Trent to be precise..... the reason? Well I wasn't ready to go into work full time, (by this point I had already had several part time ones) so decided the best option would be to go university and spend a good few years getting drunk and knee deep in clunge so spent a good few hours in the library looking through prospectus' trying to decide which university I would go to.... until I came across Staffordshire University which "claimed" to have the 2nd best Student Union in the country.... Bingo!
After a quick flick through the others, I was unable to find the top SU so decided to go to Staffordshire University.

Decided...Business Studies it would be.... I had done it in 6th form so it couldn't be too hard. 4 year course which included a year in a placement.. 4yrs to get drunk and have fun... winner!

I'm sure I'll tallk about uni in my blog so won't go into too much detail but it was there I laid eyes on L, she was gorgeous and I knew it was love at first sight.... well it was for me... turns out L needed a little more evidence of my charm, good looks and humour before I finally netted her. After a short split where I realised I didn't want to be with anybody else for the rest of my life, we got back together and fell deeply in love, got engaged, have our son Harrisaurus and then finally got married last year in Italy...
